Kodachrome

We spent a short time in the Kodachrome Basin State Park. In the summer of 1949, an exploration team was sent by the National Geographic Society to document and photograph the area using Kodachrome film. The exploration team named the region the Kodachrome Flat. There were three highlights. First, it was the Chimney Rock first featured in the 1949 Issue of the National Geographic Magazine.

Second, it was our first outdoor encounter of a baby rattle snake.

Last, it was all the "fingers" we could get from the legendary flat.
