First Snow Shoeing!

Snow Shoeing along Jordan Pines Campground along the Big Cottonwood Canyon. Legs were frozen with ice after an hour. Good first try though!

Sundance 2012

This year we managed to squeeze in one movie from Sundance Film Festival. A mid-night showing of the movie Excision (here is a Trailer) directed by Richard Bates Jr. Who came out to a Q&A session at around 2:00 a.m. Awesome! Here is a photo during the session. He explained how the movie was inspired by his childhood in Virginia. 

The Kathmandu

J's b-day party at the Kathmandu ****, food from India and Nepal. I really enjoyed the curried goat (with bones), flavorful with hint of goat and a wonderful spicy kick. Highly recommend.

Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse

A new barbecue eatery—Sonny Bryan’s Smokehouse, just opened. We went to check it out. 
Jeff got the meat combo, I got the ribs. I will give the ribs ***. Jeff give the brisket **** based on SLC, *** based on Taxes. Of course, *** being average, **** being good and ***** being excellent.
