New Orleans: French Quarter

Bourbon Street (where drunk people have not shown up yet...)

Not so great band in Jackson Square...

Street performer...

Cable car...

French market...

Royal street with its wonderful galleries...

Sea food gumbo at Stanley. A bit over seasoned...

The flamingo man...

Dinner at Cafe Abyssinia, food was too good for me to remember the photos...

I wonder how many people come to New Orleans to search for Magical Unicorn ...

Wall paining at a bar on Magazine street (garden district)...

New Orleans: The Search of the Best Po Boy

I went on a solo journal in search of the best po boy, or more like sole food in New Orleans, following some guidance. It took me an hour by bus to get to Parkway Bakery and Tavern, to have their famous Shrimp and Roast Beef Combo Po Boy called Surf n' Turf, dressed (that is, with tomato, lettuce and sauce...)

Parkway was hit hard during Katrina, here are some pictures that remember its history...

Before...

After...

And the artistic interpretations...

Since I was in the Mid City Neighborhood, I wondered around to the Bayou, had my first crawfish boil at KJean Seafood and gelato at Angelo Brocato, as my second and third course for the lunch...

New Orleans: Cafe du Monde

Landed late at night...Cafe du Monde for a night snack...

The painting says "It seemed like an ordinary day until I had coffee with Jesus at the Cafe du Monde."

Jeff had four beignets that night, for which he regretted afterwards...

Jackson Square at night

In front of the House of Blues...
